You can't imagine how happy we are. Amaterasu is just two weeks old and we get our first award already? Woah. We didn't expect this at all.

7 things about me (since this is Kai posting, I'm gonna post facts about myself):
1. I can speak Japanese and a little bit of Korean. I was so obsessed with Japan since my mom used to work there before that when I had the opportunity to work there I grabbed it, but I had to learn the language first. 2 months of hardcore Nihongo can kill you, really. So you see why the Japanese reference? Amaterasu is the Sun Goddess in the Japanese folklore.
My love for Korean I got from being an avid fan of Kpop. I used to be a big fangirl but as I got older, not that much anymore. I can read and write in Korean (self-taught) but I can barely hold a conversation using the language.
2. I have a twin who is a total opposite of me. For one, he's a guy, and he hates reading. Once I tried to make him read Harry Potter (this was in High School) so I borrowed it from the school library and he never even touched it. Most of the time people mistake us for a couple, to this day I don't know why. I guess we're that close?
3. I only started liking and reading YA books. Until 2 years ago, I was reading romance (Mills & Boon, Harlequin, etc.) since its what's in my mom's bookshelf. I can't remember the first YA book I've read, but to this day, I only read Y.A. books and I think I'll be sticking to the genre for a long time.
4. I share the same birthday as Jessica Simpson.
5. When I'm not reading, I love watching sports. Any kind. I don't play but I love watching. I love basketball, billiards, I even got into the World Cup fever. And F1. And boxing! I also watch UFC fights with my dad and brothers. Usually, my friends would say I'm a guy on weekends since I watch these shows without fail. I'm actually in it for the hot guys. ;)
6. I'm a really compulsive buyer. If there's one thing I can't resist, its books. Most of the time I buy whatever I think is good, but I never get to read most. You should see my bookshelf. Sometimes I wonder how I can look forward to getting new books when I haven't even read most of what's in my bookshelf.
7. I am afraid of chickens. Wait, scratch that. I am afraid of any animal with feathers. I have this weird thing going in my head that when I get near them they'll chase me and poke me to death. Ironic, really, since I love eating chicken.
Since we're fairly new and I really don't know a lot of people in the blogosphere just yet, I'll be passing out the awards to 8 people for now.
