I was freaking out when I got this on the mail:
SWAG FROM LINDA KAGE!
I got a bookmark, 2 postcards and 4 pamphlets!
It feels so good getting swag from my favorite author. And yes, Linda Kage is one of my all-time favorite authors, and her book, The Stillburrow Crush is one of my all-time favorite books! I was so flattered I almost cried when I found out I got a short letter from her:
(Sorry for the crappy quality of the photo)
Thanks so much, Linda! You don't know how happy I was when I got the SWAG and your letter. I'm looking forward to that YA book when it comes out!
And I'm getting a big haul of books from the greatest Soul Sister there is ever, Louisse, who is lending me "some" of her books! She's awesome, I tell you! That's 10 books. 10 books! I really should learn how to read fast, its like, a must now with the number of books I'm getting!
So what did you get this week, fellow book bloggers? Share your haul! Would love to see what you got in your mailboxes this week!
Great haul this week! :) You will need to bring a lot of MUSCLE POWER to carry those books! LOL :)) I hope you enjoy reading them~
ReplyDeleteHugs, peace and cookies,
Louisse
Ha! This kind of reminds me of when my mom noticed my cover art for Sugar Rush. Can't remember exactly what she said, but it was like, "Oh, that's pretty. What is it?"
ReplyDeleteAnd I was like, "Um..." I glanced at her. "That's my book, Mom. I'm a published author."
"A what?"
"Um, I told you about a month ago."
"You're a...what?" Mom narrows eyes at the book.
"Published author. I write books, people buy them, publisher sends me royalty checks."
"But, I thought you were just thinking about trying to get a book published!"
Oookay, so I write better than I talk.
P.S. I always loved it when new books came back when I was a reviewer. In fact, I miss it. (((sigh)))
Whoa! You got many things! Hope you enjoy them!
