I've been hearing a lot of good thing about this book, and a handful of my book blogger buddies has also recommended this book to me. I'd also like to share this and recommend it to you in turn.
Title: Her Sanctuary
Author: P.Q. Glisson
Pages: 336
Buy the book: Amazon | Barnes & Noble | IndieBound
Summary:
Shannon Mallory was a woman on the run….not from outside forces but from her own wounded heart. When she pulled up into the parking lot of The Last Resort CafĂ©, in the town of Sanctuary, little did she know she would find the one thing she never even knew she was searching for….true love.
Seth Proudfoot wasn’t looking for anything, except an end to his miserable existence. Accused of a crime he couldn’t remember committing, he was ostracized by a town that, ironically, bore the name of the one thing he could never find….Sanctuary.
When the two meet, neither can ignore the magnetic pull between them, but will Shannon allow her damaged spirit to trust a man…a man who may have murdered his own family?
Though Shannon is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen, it is her spirit that breaks down the iron-clad shield around his heart. Their desire burns hotter than the Arizona desert, threatening to melt the very mountains that loom like silent Gods above their heads. But can their love survive a betrayal that could very well cost them both their lives?
Werewolf fans, you wouldn't want to miss this book! I've been reading a lot of rave reviews about the book. Give it a try! A word to the wise though, this is a romance filled book for adults.
About the author:
A Savannahnian born and raised, I have never lived more than thirty miles from my birthplace. After graduating from Savannah Christian Prep School in 1977, I immediately went to work. I met my future husband on a blind date and after five years of marriage I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. between work and family, I never really had time to pursue my passion, reading. Recent circumstances caused me to re-evaluate my life. I returned to reading and got a an idea for a story. One day I sat down and started typing. It felt so good to be able to put to paper (so to speak) my imaginings. I've always been a fan of romance, but I never thought that one day I would be a published author with my own romance novel. I have extended my favorite genres to include para-romance, YA, and time travel romance. Anything by Sherrilyn Kenyon, Eugenia Riley, Teresa Medeiros, Stephenie Meyer, Charlaine Harris and Marti Jones. I also love P.C. & Kristin Cast.
