There were tons of surprises this week! After the challenge that was National Bookstore's Warehouse Sale, where I fought tooth and nail for books on sale for very low low prices, a few awesome books still landed in our inbox.
Every other week I will be showcasing the literary offerings I got. The list will include print copies, as well as e-books I got for review, and other books that I bought or borrowed from friends.
For review:
Quintana of Charyn (Lumatere Chronicles #1) by Melina Marchetta (!!!)
Guardian (Halflings #2) by Heather Burch
Won:
The Other Normals by Ned Vizzini
What We Become (Those That Wake #2) by Jesse Karp
For blog tour:
5 copies of The Peculiar by Stefan Bachmann
From National Bookstore's Warehouse Sale:
Ruby by Francesca Lia Block
The Frenzy by Francesca Lia Block
Kiss of Life (Generation Dead #2) by Daniel Waters
The Real Real by Emma McLaughlin & Nicola Kraus
Soulless (Parasol Protectorate #1) by Gail Carriger
The Morning Gift by Eva Ibbotson
Ascend (Trylle #3) by Amanda Hocking
Prom: A Novel
Shadowed Summer by Saundra Mitchell
2 romance novels for my mom
Awesome thanks to National Bookstore, Christine from HarperCollins, Rachel at Fiktshun, Penguin Australia, Zondervan and Heather Burch!
Guardians and The Morning Gift look really good! Lucky you~

Hi Kai! It's been a while...again.
ReplyDeleteSo many BEAUTIFUL books. I really like the look and sound of The Peculiar. :)
Also there were some titles I hadn't heard of before, so of course I looked them up. The Morning Gift sounds like my kind of book!
Enjoy!
I'm going to have to start reading Jesse Karp's first novel soon because the sequel is coming out soon. It sounds super amazing!:)
