Anyway, for our meme this week, I'm featuring a really great book! I'm glad I'm one of the lucky few who was able to grab an ARC of this book. I'll be posting the review tomorrow, in time for its release, so watch out for it!
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
"We know some of the children's names and as we retrace our route, we may be able to tell the parents of their sad fate."
Georgette lifted her face. "But perhaps it is better for them not to know; to think their children are in the Holy Land, or even that they are dead and at peace," she whispered.
~p. 164, "Crusade" by Linda Press Wulf
One of the reasons why I'm loving this book is I'm a big fan of historical movies. This book particularly focuses on the time of The Crusades, where children fight as soldiers. It's something new and different from what I usually read, but it's delightfully fresh. You might want to get yourself a copy!
Sounds good.

There was a famous crusade which was called The Children's Crusade. I wonder if this book is based on that event.

This sounds like it's an interesting book. Might just have to take a closer look. Thanks for sharing! You can find my teaser at The Bookish Snob
