And its the day before Christmas! How are you guys preparing for it? I'm busy helping my mom prepare the ingredients for the salad later, doing the caramel for the Leche Flan, and helping her out with the cooking. ^^
ON WITH THE HOP!
MERRY
CHRISTMAS!
CHRISTMAS!
Question of the week: What are you plans for this fabulous day?Spending it with my family of course! And I think I've answered this question in my intro for this post. :) We'll be preparing and cooking all day! I might do last minute gift wrapping as well. And of course, going to mass later with my lovely family.
Christmas Eve is spent with my family, its the only quiet time we'll get because tomorrow'll be CHAOS! Our relatives will be here for a visit and the kids will ask for their "aguinaldo" (gifts or money) from their "ninongs" and "ninangs" (godmother & godfather). Christmas in the Philippines is just awesome!
So what will you guys be doing tonight and tomorrow? XD SHARE!!!

Xmas Eve Follow Friday
I've never had homemade flan sounds tasty though ^.^ Also, the begging for gifts sounds a lot like Chinese New Year!

Ooh you're in the Philippines! I miss having Christmas there when I was a child. It's almost the same here in Canada though with other filipinos. Theyre almost quite like family :D
ReplyDeleteI'm from the hop and I'm a new follower! :)
Merry Christmas, and I hope you and your family have a great time. I'm from the Philippines too, and I'll probably attend mass with my family.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog, btw. Just started following you. :)
First of all, Merry Christmas! :)
ReplyDeleteTake your eyes for a rest, it's a lot more better to not read a book in one day than not be able to read for the rest your life ;)
So true! Christmas here in Philippines is just one of a kind. Here in our house is super noisy already, my Aunt is throwing a little party for the kids hehe! :P
Godbless!
Sounds like you're in for typical holiday madness. I think the best part is the food! I'm working until noon then baking pies with my little sis. It's our second year on baking duty so hopefully there's SOME improvement. ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays!
