This week's question is: Do you have an under-noticed author that you think we should all know about?
A bunch! But my most favorite under-noticed author is, and will always be, Linda Kage. I've been saying over and over how The Stillburrow Crush is one of my most favorite YA books, and I think she deserves more love than what she is currently getting!
The question for this week is: What is the thing you like most about reading book blogs? Is it the reviews, author guest posts, articles, giveaways, or something else entirely?
I will not deny it, I'm a contest addict. I usually do my hops because of contests (it's also where I get most of my books) but in most blogs I follow, I follow because of the reviews. I often try to compare my reviews and see what I can improve on by reading other people's reviews. The Waiting on Wednesday meme is what I look forward to the most because that's where I get to find/discover new books I'd want to read. :)

I still need to do a vlog for my IMM this Sunday, but I am so tired, I might end up just blurting out random nonsense, so I'll do that tomorrow. In the meantime, I'll be hitting my bed and have a nice sleep. *waves*
New follower here-I just added The Stillburrow Crush to my to-read list due to your emphatic championing of it. I also love Waiting on Wednesday!

ReplyDeleteDarling, I just love reading about books I never heard of before and finding great reviews on books that I've been wanting to read. Plus making new friends is always a plus :)
ReplyDeleteI think the most undervalued authors are the Indie Authors. Noah my lovely Igor created a wonderful badge for me, us!!
Pleasant hopping to you,

I love contests too :) WoW and IMM are great for putting new books on my radar. My TBR has grown amazingly large thanks to those two memes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the author recommendation! I hadn't heard of her before.
Here's my HOP
I don't enter many contests; most of my books come from the library. Here is why I read book blogs. Happy blog hop!
ReplyDeleteI've never been big into online contests. I guess if I won more I'd get excited about them. But then I guess you have to enter to win. Catch 22. :)
ReplyDeleteI love to enter the giveaways. It's always exciting to be exposed to new books with the possibility of getting to read them.
ReplyDeleteHi! Old follower here. Just stopping by from the Hop.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend :)

Ok, I like contests too, my question to you, is do you win? I've entered plenty of contests lately and haven't one a single thing. I'm thinking the odds are stacked against me. What are your thoughts, have you been successful at winning cool stuff? Just curious....
ReplyDeletehey everyone, thanks for replying! I'll give you all virtual hugs for all your thoughts and comments! this is why I love posting memes!
ReplyDeleteAnd to Gina, to answer your question:
Yes I do, I've won lots of times (at least 10 books, I think?) I'm the type of person with luck that makes me win a lot of times in one day, and then not win anything for a long time, but I still try especially when they have contests for books I really want to have. I hope my answer helps!
I'm your newest follower!
