Despite my sickness, this week has been pretty awesome for me. I'm getting some of the books I've been waiting for, which is only a continuation of last week since I didn't get of them. And I've also scored my first set of books for review from a publisher. It's a merry merry week for this international blogger! *cough* And hey! It's Follow Friday!
Here's what's happening in our blog for this week:
Check out my ARC review of Alyson Noel's Radiance
And please, please read my interview of Robert Bellegarde, the very, uh, angelic, Angel from S.L. Naeole's Falling From Grace. He hates marshmallows! Tell him its not normal!
Meme:
- Want Books? featuring Abra Ebner's Knight Angels series
- Teaser Tuesdays featuring Alyson Noel's Radiance
- My Waiting on Wednesday picks featuring the awesome Kiki Hamilton and Cyn Balog because they're both amazing authors and they left comments on my post! How cool is that?
The question for this week is: What are you currently reading? Basically, what book is that?
My Answer:
Although Crave has been nagging me to pick it up, I'm reading L.A. Weatherly's Angel right now. The book's got a nice pace, and I'm quite surprised at how fast the story is developing, and I'm only on page 150. I'll most probably be switching to The Oracle Rebounds if I feel like it, but I have a feeling Angel's going to keep me awake until the wee hours of the morning just to finish it.
For the Blog hop:
The question for the week is: "Where is your favorite place to read? Curled up on the sofa, in bed, in the garden?"
My answer:
I read anywhere I can. I bring my books everywhere nowadays. :) But since I always am at the house, I'm always reading in my room, and in my bed. I learned not to fall asleep while reading, hoorah! Though its nice to curl up in the sofa once in a while, especially on rainy days, I still prefer to read in my room. I need a bean bag chair!
Also, if any of you are up for it, my dear friend Jennilee of Reading Lassie and I are doing an INDIE / SELF-PUBLISHED READING CHALLENGE. 16 books to be read until December 19th. Click on the picture above for details!
Get well soon, Kai! :)
ReplyDeleteStopping by on the hop! I usually only read in my room too, though if I'm out of the house I can read anywhere. Cars, parkbenches, grass, cafes, waiting rooms... I even had a book in my bag at graduation lol
ReplyDeleteAnyway, nice to find this blog. I'll be following for sure. Have a great weekend!
Aw, feel better soon! :D:D
ReplyDeleteI've also taught myself not to fall asleep so much while reading! But it's hard when you stop for a break or a little reprieve and you feel tiredness niggling at you!
