Hello everyone! How was your week? This week is a really good week for me in terms of book blogging, since I've received almost all of the books I'm waiting for. I'm still waiting for 2 more books to arrive, so yay! This is really a treat since I rarely get (or win) any book from overseas, a lot of people are reluctant to send them over because the shipping cost is a bit expensive. Thanks Book Depository!

So on, on our blog this week are two new reviews. Whew. I can't believe I can finish reading 2 books right after my awesome vacation. If you notice, my partner in crime a.k.a. my co-reviewer is on hiatus for a while, so all you're seeing are my reviews.

The Question for this week is: When you write reviews, do you write them as you are reading or wait until you have read the entire book?

My answer: I write my review right after reading the book. It's a must for me. I tend to forget a lot of things so I don't even attempt writing one even a few hours later. It has to be right after I put down the book (and give myself a few minutes to digest) so my ideas are fresh and I still know what I want to say. I admire people who can write reviews days or even weeks after they read a book though, if that was me I wouldn't even remember what I want to write.

I tried writing a review as I'm reading the book but I gave up because it distracted me and threw me off my reading. Right now I am trying to taking notes of quotes and passages I want to include in my review, and I think so far, its working. I hate folding pages on my book so I use post-it notes, which is very helpful to me.
