To our new followers, we just want to say hi! My name is Kai and I'm from the Philippines. I am sharing this blog with my best friend and co-reviewer, Tin, and welcome to Amaterasu reads! We're fairly new in the book blogosphere, so we're still posting up our reviews, but feel free to look around the site. =)
And thanks too to Crazy for Books for hosting the Book Blogger Hop.
Do you listen to music when you read? If so, what are your favorite reading tunes?
Yes, I do. I find it easier to read with music as my background. Usually when I read I play music using my iPod touch. I can concentrate more in my reading when I listen to music.
I listen to Asian Pop music though, mostly Jpop and Kpop. I've been influenced heavily by those two cultures (it helps that I speak a little Japanese and Korean) and their music is what fills my playlist, but I do listen to English songs, don't worry.
My current faves are: Dave Barnes, Ben Rector and Sleeperstar. ^^

Just popping in via the hop to say hi! It looks like you have a lot of the same books in your TBR pile as me, so I look forward to reading your reviews. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteHopping by! I don't listen to music while reading. I only get to read about 15-30 minutes at a time, so there isn't a lot of time to get the music going!
ReplyDeleteI had a Filipino roommate in college. I love their culture!
Hope you'll hop by!
