Only watch Howl's Moving Castle and Beauty & The Beast but haven't read the books. So i can't judge much on the others adaptation. My favorite adaptation is Harry Potter series of course! it's my childhood and the first time i was really engrossed with a massive hype of book's adaptation. Even though some of the actors and plot adaptations unsatisfied me but it couldn't get better than that.
-Kyu purinsessu (Anjani)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5190473011098681351.post-86342367069759820642013-03-12T21:35:49.320+08:002013-03-12T21:35:49.320+08:00I was really happy with Beautiful Creatures as a m...I was really happy with Beautiful Creatures as a movie. Possibly because I didn't care for the longness of the book, but who knows? ;) I thought they left out silly things and kept everything that made the story flow well. All around good movie. I hope they get to make a second.

Also, I think this list is great!Amanda Troyerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12122875765588015413noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5190473011098681351.post-60779458170732886292013-02-12T01:38:34.656+08:002013-02-12T01:38:34.656+08:00So, please discount my entries. Weirdl...Thanks so much for featuring me here, Kai!

Weirdly enough, this list is already kind of out of date! Literally a day after I put it together, I discovered and watched the 4-part BBC adaptation of Emma, with Romola Garai and Jonny Lee Miller, and LOVED it so much that it definitely blows Kate Beckinsale's version out of the water.Sangu Mandannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09464061265952789628noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5190473011098681351.post-46673151251658570332013-02-09T05:11:24.815+08:002013-02-09T05:11:24.815+08:00Yes. But, yes, SO CUTE! My favorite Miyazaki (other than Totoro) is Spirited Away.

And Les Miserables. ::sigh:: Let's just say I brought a tissue box into the movie theater with me.

And Sangu Mandanna's writing is beautiful!!Axiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16328788402306644835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5190473011098681351.post-43262277660295293852013-02-09T04:51:38.921+08:002013-02-09T04:51:38.921+08:00Great choice, all of them! Although, I admit I like the BBC version of Pride and Prejudice (with Colin Firth) so much better than the newer one! :D

Also want to say that I LOVED The Lost Girl and I hope we someday see it made into an adaptation of its own!!Little Miss Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09350490261395026094noreply@blogger.com
