Maligayang Pasko + giveaway!

Ah yes, it's that time of the year when I am most excited, not because of the long holiday (okay, maybe a little) but because it's one of the most festive time of the year for me and my family.

I'd like to extend my greetings to all my readers, so I say Maligayang Pasko! It means "Merry Christmas" in my native language.

Wherever you are in the world, and whoever you may be celebrating this day with, may you all be filled with happiness and love. One of the best things during this time of the year, especially for me, is seeing a big smile on the faces of my family and loved ones as we celebrate the birth of Christ.

In the spirit of giving, I'm doing a quick give away to one of my lucky readers. I meant to give this away early this month, but I've been too busy with work and a lot of other things, so I'm taking this opportunity to give this away now.

Fill out the rafflecopter form and tell me: How are you celebrating this year? What gifts did you get? Did any of your wishes for the year came true?

  1. Hi Kai! I spent my Christmas unlikely last year and most likely the loneliest of all. I can't even explain to myself why I feel lonely this Christmas. It also feels like there's something I wanted that was never ever given to me. But, it's still good bc my family and I are together celebrating it with Noche Buena and fireworks. I got a new phone and socks. My phone is a birthday-Christmas gift from my boyfriend and the socks is from him too which is quiet expensive. I told him that he should have given me a book rather than socks. Haha. But he told me this, "Socks can protect your feet from the cold season, not a book." Has a bit of a point but I WAAAANT A BOOK THE HOLIDAYYYY!! Anyway, thank you for the giveaway and happy holidays to you. :)

Besides books ('cause everybody knows me so well!), I also got beautiful earrings from my sis.

  7. Maligayang Pasko, Kai! I just celebrated Christmas with my family. It's a sober one though, because my grandfather is still in the hospital. We still exchanged gifts and I got a watch from my sister. :)

  13. Spent my Christmas with family. I only received gift from my mom and I did treat myself with books, of course lol. I mostly gifted this year unlike the past years, I received so much. It was fun wrapping gifts and seeing my little cousins' reactions to my gifts. Hope you have a fun holiday. Merry Christmas!

  18. There weren't a lot of gifts maybe because I'm old (not really). But that's not important for me, I don't mind it. I prefer to give and to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas with my loved ones and give thanks and praise to Jesus, of course.
Have a blessed Christmas to you, Kai! :)

  19. Hi!

I spent my whole Christmas alone in my apartment just watching movies and finishing my knitting project. Not because I got now friends to hang out with, but I chose to just be all by myself. We'll have our exchange gifts on the New Year's eve, so we'll see what gifts I will get. :-)

  20. I had an amazing Christmas with my family. We didn't prepare many food on noche buena and I didn't receive any gifts this year. But it was still amazing because this time, I was the one who get to give them something. Also, we are a big family (I have 5 older siblings) and this Christmas, we are complete so that's something to be thankful for.

Merry Christmas, Kai and May you have an awesome New Year!

  28. I had an amazing Xmas this year with family although I didn't get to celebrate it with my bestfriend for the first time because she had to leave and work abroad. . . I think I'm getting kinda old for gifts (but then again one can never be too old for gives) but so far I was given two of the most important gifts that I could ever ask for this year. Family and books!

Hope you had an awesome Christmas as well! :)
