Teaser Tuesdays (32)

Anyone willing to send me a new book shelf? This poor lady needs one. My mom just brought home 7 books and I really don't know where to put them. No more shelf space at all. I've re-arranged my bookshelves twice but really. Nothing. Please? :)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

And I get it. At least a little. I know she's upset. I know she's jealous of Luke. I know she wishes I didn't disapprove of her boyfriend, if you want to call Mr. Rice that.

But getting it doesn't make it stop hurting.

~p. 177, "Forgotten" by Cat Patrick

I know I know, I've posted a teaser about this book last time, but I'm just resuming my read now before I dive into other books. And I know I have to finish this. Why did I stop reading? It's so good! That part is one of the saddest moment in London's life, and... I just thought I'd share it with you. It's hard losing a friend.

So, please share your teasers!

  1. Hi and warm greetings from beautiful Australia, I found your teaser sad and intriguing enough to go and take a look at "forgotten" myself. Thanks for sharing this looks like a wonderful read.

    Please pop in and take a look at mine. I am supporting all new authors this year and the teaser is from a book I have just reviewed.

  9. I absolutely love the cover and plan to check this one out. I just read a book about a girl who loses a friend (along with a having a lot of other issues) but it's beautifully written - Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson.
    ... and my teaser this week.

I love getting comments from my readers and fellow bookworms, and I try my best to respond to all of them. Feel free to give me a piece of your thoughts. Also, this is an award-free blog. I simply don't have the time to highlight them anymore, but thank you for thinking of my blog!
