Waiting on Wednesday (15)

Hey everyone! How's your week so far? Mine's a bit slow and unproductive as you can see with all the memes. I have a review scheduled to be posted later, but that's all I have for this week.

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine

Title: Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini
Release Date: May 31st 2011
Published by: HarperTeen
Summary (From HarperCollins Catalog):

Helen Hamilton has spent her entire sixteen years trying to hide how different she is—no easy feat on an island as small as Nantucket. It only gets harder when she finds herself haunted by vivid nightmares of a desert journey and hallucinations of women weeping tears of blood, all of which leave her physically and emotionally drained. It’s not until Helen crosses paths with Lucas Delos at school that her true heritage is revealed. Yet even as Lucas helps her awaken to her startling powers, Helen is devastated to discover they can never be together—not unless they can break free of their leading roles in a Greek tragedy the Three Fates insist on repeating throughout history.

But how do you defy destiny?

Josephine Angelini delivers a passionate tale of starcrossed lovers and modern-day demigods in her breathtaking debut, sure to captivate fans of Cassandra Clare and Lauren Kate.

Title: Falling for Hamlet by Michelle Ray
Release Date: July 5th 2011
Published by: Poppy
Summary (from Goodreads):

Falling for Hamlet retells the familiar Shakespearean tragedy from the point of view of a feisty, empowered Ophelia, who is neither suicidal nor anybody’s pushover. In a glittering world of celebrities, paparazzi, and reality TV, Ophelia navigates the minefield of teen life in a royal family gone crazy.

I am in love with the cover for Starcrossed! I just saw it last night and I immediately loved it! Definitely looking forward to reading the book.
