Teaser Tuesdays (17)

And here I am again asking all of you if your week's going okay. :D I don't seem to get tired of asking that. Hmm... ^^ Mine's pretty slow. If last week was slow, this week is SLOWER. On the other hand, it might be a good thing since my TBR pile didn't increase at all this week. Time to catch up w/ my reading!

But before anything else, here's out teaser for this week. It's from the fabulous Julie Kagawa's book, the second off off a trilogy (which turned out to have a fourth book!), The Iron Daughter. Told you I was having a marathon ;)

He stood in the doorway with his hands on his pockets, the picture of nonchalance, and even as a human, he was too gorgeous for words. His dark hair had been combed back, falling softly around his face, and his mercury eyes, though they should've seemed pale against all the white, glimmered more brightly than anything.

And they were fixed solely on me.
