Teaser Tuesdays (13)

Hey everyone! How's your week? Mine's spent recovering at home since I was sick for almost a week. Though its all good since I had a 5 day rest, but now its a bit hard to go back to work. :)

Today, my teaser is from one of my most favorite books of all time. But I'm still agonizing over the fact that my brother sat on my copy of this book and the back cover was folded in half. I was fuming all night yesterday. Ah well, I'm giving this away after I finish reading and I'll buy a new one. Yes, that's how much I hate having creases in my books.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Do I have to choose?
Why can't I have two suns in my sky?

~p. 146, "Taken by Storm" by Angela Morrison

This book is just beautiful... yeah, I haven't finished reading yet but here I am already singing praises for the book! Look forward to my review :D

So what are your teasers for this week? Please do share them!

  1. Yeah I ask myself the same thing. I'm so indecisve, making choices is hard.

  2. I'm glad you're feeling better! I DO know what it's like when someone ruins one of your books! I had a set of the "Odd Thomas" by Dean Koontz books in hardcover and loaned them out to my brother in law .. who promptly lost one of the pristine dust jackets! When he found it, it was all crinkled and .. well, HE'LL never borrow another book from ME again! Love the teaser!

I love getting comments from my readers and fellow bookworms, and I try my best to respond to all of them. Feel free to give me a piece of your thoughts. Also, this is an award-free blog. I simply don't have the time to highlight them anymore, but thank you for thinking of my blog!
