Follow Friday / Book Blogger Hop (13)

A very gloomy and rainy Friday greeting to everyone!

This week is awesome for us in terms of book blogging, and well, books. There are books steadily being sent to us and we love love love it! The big ones I'm waiting for hasn't arrived yet, and I'm really excited to get it, I hope it comes soon. Plus we have a few upcoming events/posts we can't wait to share with everyone, please look forward to that!

The question: If you have, or would have a daughter, what book would you want your daughter to read?

Someday, I'd love to have my daughter read the books I loved when I started reading, like Anne of Green Gables. The Hunger Games series and Graceling and Fire too, since they all have strong female protagonists. I would want my daughter to be strong like them. I'd also want her to read some of the great books today, like Speak and Twenty Boy Summer. I would want for her to be aware of the topics being discussed in the book, overcoming grief and loss of a loved one, and standing up for yourself among a few things. They'll be of great use to her when she grows up.

Here's what happened on our blog this week:

Giveaway:

- Check out my interview with J.L. Bryan and A GIVEAWAY OF JENNY POX!

Review:

- Tin's ARC review of The Oracle of Dating (which was re-tweeted by HarlequinTeen, its awesome!)
- My ARC review of Angel by L.A. Weatherly

Meme:

- Our Teaser Tuesdays featuring Angela Morrison's awfully beautiful book, Taken by Storm
- Our Waiting on Wednesday picks featuring Other Words For Love by Lorraine Zago Rosenthal and Awaken by Katie Kacvinsky

The question for this week: "What is the one bookish thing you would love to have, no matter the cost?"

I would love to have my own library! Ever since I started collecting books, I started dreaming of having my very own room filled with floor to ceiling bookshelves with lots and lots of the books I'd love to read.

I promise not to be lazy today, and I also promise to follow back everyone who will follow me, so please leave me a comment so I can keep track! I'd love to meet new book blogs/bloggers!

It would be nice to have my own library as well. I will have to wait till one of the kids moves out and make their room into a mini library that is my thought anyway ha.

I love getting comments from my readers and fellow bookworms, and I try my best to respond to all of them. Feel free to give me a piece of your thoughts. Also, this is an award-free blog. I simply don't have the time to highlight them anymore, but thank you for thinking of my blog!
