Waiting On Wednesday (5)

I'm almost finished with Siren! And this is such a good week for book lovers, what with so many awesome books released (Clockwork Angel, Radiance, Paranormalcy, Halo) have you read these new releases? Me, not yet, I'm still waiting for my copy of Clockwork Angel. :)

Here's what I'm waiting for this week:

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

Book: Mad Love by Suzanne Selfors
Release Date: January 4th 2011
Summary (From Goodreads):

Writing her own love story could drive a girl insane!

When you’re the daughter of the bestselling Queen of Romance, life should be pretty good. But 16-year-old Alice Amorous has been living a lie ever since her mother was secretly hospitalized for mental illness. After putting on a brave front for months, time is running out. The next book is overdue, and the Queen can’t write it. Alice needs a story for her mother—and she needs one fast. That’s when she meets Errol, a strange boy who claims to be Cupid, who insists that Alice write about the greatest love story in history: his tragic relationship with Psyche. As Alice begins to hear Errol’s voice in her head and see things she can’t explain, she must face the truth—that she’s either inherited her mother’s madness, or Errol is for real.

Book: Anna and the French Kiss By Stephanie Perkins
Release Date: December 2nd 2010
Summary (From Goodreads):

Anna was looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. So she's less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris — until she meets Étienne St. Clair. Smart, charming, beautiful, Étienne has it all . . . including a serious girlfriend.

But in the City of Light, wishes have a way of coming true. Will a year of romantic near-misses end with their long-awaited French kiss?

I'm a big big fan of Suzanne Selfors! I've read Saving Juliet and Coffeehouse Angel and I love both books, so imagine how excited I am when I found out she's releasing a new YA book! As for the second book, it's just plain awesome! What else can I say? *points on the widget on her sidebar*

Another book I really want to read: Alive and Well in Prague, New York by Daphne Grab.

Funny how I came across the book. If it weren't for Kristi of The Story Siren's tweet about someone calling her "Daphne Grab", I wouldn't check this book. I think its worth a read.

I love getting comments from my readers and fellow bookworms, and I try my best to respond to all of them. Feel free to give me a piece of your thoughts. Also, this is an award-free blog. I simply don't have the time to highlight them anymore, but thank you for thinking of my blog!
