Teaser Tuesdays (5)

I'm taking a break from reading Mockingjay (too heavy). I'm switching it with Tricia Rayburn's Siren. Not really a light read but at least it's less darker and depressing than Mockingjay, I need that. Anyway, sorry for the random blabbering, on with the meme!

"Can you smell it?"
The dead flower had lost its scent long ago, but I lifted the book and held my nose to the pages anyway. It smelled stale, like the Winter Harbor library.
"No," I said.
"Well." She looked at me, her eyes clearer than I'd ever seen them. "I can."

Hmm, I am really liking Siren so far. The suspense makes me want to just continue on flipping pages and reading, its actually addicting to read this.
